Your First 90 Days with Salt

Find the Leaks First. Then Build the System That Grows Your Practice.

Diagnosis before prescription. Clear milestones. No guesswork.

Most med spas don't need more marketing. They need more of their marketing to work.

Your first 90 days with Salt aren't a waiting room. You'll know what we're building, why it matters, what we need from you, and what to expect at each step. We start by finding where revenue is leaking. Then we fix the fastest leaks, build the systems that keep them closed, and add new demand only where your practice is ready for it.

The definition

What Are Your First 90 Days with Salt?

In one paragraph

Your first 90 days with Salt are the opening stage of the Growth Accelerator. We diagnose where revenue is leaking across your practice, fix the fastest leaks, and build the follow-up, conversion, and measurement systems your growth depends on. By Day 90, you have a working system, real baseline numbers, and a prioritized plan for what comes next.

It isn't a 90-day campaign that ends when the calendar runs out. It's the foundation for everything after it.

Not every fix moves at the same speed

Time until the work shows a usable signal

Follow-up & database reactivationDays
Paid ads (when prescribed)Weeks
Website conversion, reviews & referralsMonths
SEO, AEO & local visibilityCompounds

Your existing patients and unworked leads can respond within days. New demand from ads takes weeks to learn. Reviews, referrals, and search visibility build through steady work over months.

Phase 1Days 1–14

Assess & Diagnose

We learn your practice, secure access, capture your message, and run the Growth Gap Diagnostic across all five Salted Edge systems: Attract, Convert, Create Raving Fans, Automate, and Measure & Scale.

Phase 2Days 15–45

Fix the Leaks

We build the follow-up and automation that stop opportunities from slipping away. We launch a database reactivation campaign and set up tracking so every lead has a source.

Phase 3Days 46–90

Optimize & Scale

We improve conversion, add new demand where the diagnosis supports it, strengthen reviews and referrals, and use the evidence to set your next 90-day plan.

The first 90 days are structured, not rigid. Your diagnosis, account access, approval speed, provider capacity, and budget can change the exact sequence. The milestones stay clear while the strategy stays responsive.

Why it matters

Why the First 90 Days Decide Everything After Them

The first 90 days show whether a marketing partner understands your practice, or just starts completing tasks.

Med spas aren't interchangeable. A single-location practice with one injector needs a different plan than a multi-provider practice adding weight loss and hormone services. Before we change anything, we need to know what your practice is trying to become.

Diagnose before you prescribe

We look at your whole growth system first.

An SEO company finds an SEO problem. An ad agency finds an ad problem. You may believe you need more leads. Our answer may be: maybe — but first, let's see where your current opportunities are going.

Lead sourcesLead-to-booking rateShow rateConsult-to-treatment rateRebookingProvider capacityDatabase size
Fix the leaks first

Before you buy more demand.

Most established practices are sitting on revenue they've already paid for: unanswered calls, unworked leads, consults that never booked, and past patients who haven't been back. Closing those gaps comes first, because more leads poured into a leaky system just cost more.

Your database

May be worth more than your next ad campaign.

Thousands of past patients and prospects sit in your system. A well-built reactivation campaign is often the fastest win in the first 30 days. These are people who already know you.

Measurement

You can't scale what you can't measure.

If calls, forms, and bookings aren't tracked to a source from the start, later reports can't tell you what's working. The first month builds the measurement foundation every future decision depends on.

  • Every lead tied to the source that produced it.
  • Every booking traced back to a lead.
  • Every month reviewed against your baseline.
Owner independence

The owner shouldn't be the marketing system.

If follow-up depends on who's at the front desk, or growth depends on you finding time at night, the system is fragile. The first 90 days move that work into automation and process, so it runs without you holding it together.

Day 90 isn't a finish line. It's the point where your system is working, your numbers are clear, and the next quarter's priorities are obvious.

Day by day

What Happens Day by Day in Your First 90 Days?

The timeline below shows the core milestones. Some work runs in parallel, and exact timing depends on how quickly access and approvals are completed.

Phase 1 · Days 1–14Assess & Diagnose
Day 1

Kickoff Call with Jennifer Founder-led

Your first 90 days begin with a kickoff call led by Salt's founder, Jennifer Orechwa. We cover your goals, services, providers and their capacity, patient base, current lead sources, booking process, and where growth feels stuck.

You'll leave knowing who owns what and what happens next.

Days 2–5

Secure Access Without the Login Chase

We walk you through granting access to the accounts the plan needs. You won't be handed a technical checklist and left alone. We help you find what exists, what's missing, and the safest way to share access.

What we typically need access to
WebsiteDomainGoogle Business ProfileAnalyticsBooking or EMR systemPhone systemAd accountsEmail & SMS toolsPatient & lead lists
Around Day 5

Messaging Strategy Session Founder-led

Also led by Jennifer. We dig into how you speak, what you believe, the patients you want more of, the treatments you want to grow, and the words your best patients use. This becomes the voice behind every email, text, page, and ad we write for you.

Days 3–14

The Growth Gap Diagnostic

We review your practice across all five Salted Edge systems and pull your baseline numbers: lead volume and sources, speed to lead, lead-to-booking rate, show rate, consult-to-treatment rate, rebooking, and database size.

We look for where revenue is leaking between Attract, Convert, Create Raving Fans, Automate, and Measure & Scale.

Day 14

Your Diagnostic and 90-Day Priorities

We walk you through what we found and what we recommend fixing first. This is where we prescribe the work. You'll see which leaks cost the most, which fixes move fastest, and whether new demand (like paid ads) belongs in your first 90 days.

Phase 2 · Days 15–45Fix the Leaks
Days 15–30

Follow-Up Systems Go Live

We move your lead and patient communication onto our CRM and automation platform. Then we build the follow-up that stops opportunities from slipping away: instant lead response, missed-call text-back, consultation follow-up, and no-show recovery.

Live by Day 30

Around Day 21

Database Reactivation Launches

We segment your existing patients and past leads, then launch a reactivation campaign written in your voice. This is often where practices see their first new bookings.

Results depend on your list size, list quality, and offer, so we don't promise a number.

Days 30–45

Website Optimization Begins

We review your site the way a prospective patient experiences it: calls to action, booking path, treatment pages, offers, and mobile experience. Then we make focused changes to turn more visitors into booked consultations.

A full website rebuild isn't part of the first 90 days. If you need one, we'll quote it separately.

Phase 3 · Days 46–90Optimize & Scale
Around Day 45

New Demand, Where It Fits

If your diagnosis shows the system is ready for more leads, we launch the channels that fit your market, services, and budget. That could be paid search, Meta ads, local visibility work, or none of these yet. More demand only helps once your follow-up can handle it.

Days 45–60

Reviews and Referrals

We set up a review request process and a referral system so happy patients bring you the next ones, without your team having to remember to ask.

Day 60

Your Dashboard and First Metrics Review

Your reporting dashboard is live, and we hold your first monthly metrics meeting. We compare your numbers to your Day 14 baseline and adjust what isn't working.

Days 60–90

Refine and Compound

Campaigns, follow-up messages, and website changes keep improving based on real results. SEO, AEO, and local visibility work continue building, because those gains take time.

Day 90

Your 90-Day Growth Review

We review what launched, what's working, what needs more time, and where friction remains. Then we set your 90-Day Gameplan for the next quarter.

This is a working roadmap, not a list of tasks done once and forgotten. Campaigns, automation, content, visibility work, reporting, and strategy continue throughout.

Your side of the plan

What Do We Need from You?

The plan is built to take the marketing work off your plate. The strongest launches still depend on a few things only your practice can provide.

We handle

The strategy, systems, and production work

  • Diagnosis, strategy, and your 90-day priorities
  • Messaging and copy in your voice
  • CRM setup, automation, and follow-up sequences
  • Database reactivation campaigns
  • Website optimization and conversion improvements
  • Paid ads, when prescribed
  • Tracking, dashboards, and monthly reporting
  • Guiding you through account access, safely

You bring

The knowledge only your practice has

  • 1
Honest contextThe treatments you want to grow, the ones you'd rather not push, provider schedules and capacity, seasonality, and what's disappointed you before.
  • 2
Access to the right accountsBooking or EMR, website, Google, ad accounts, and patient lists. We guide the process, but accounts tied to past vendors or old emails can take time to recover.
  • 3
Focused reviews and approvalsOne clear decision-maker keeps reviews moving and prevents conflicting direction. Quick approvals protect the timeline.
  • 4
Front desk follow-throughMarketing can create the opportunity. Your team still answers the phone, books the appointment, and delivers the experience that earns the next review.
  • 5
Feedback on lead qualityA form fill isn't automatically a good opportunity. Tell us which leads booked, which consults converted, and what patients asked.

You shouldn't have to run your marketing. We just need your knowledge of the practice to make it accurate.

By Day 90

What Should You Expect by Day 90?

Day 90 should bring clarity, working infrastructure, and enough real numbers to make your next decisions with confidence.

  • Completed diagnostic and documented priorities
  • Messaging captured and in use across your marketing
  • Follow-up automation running without staff memory
  • Database reactivation launched and measured
  • Website improvements made to your booking path
  • New demand channels live, where they were prescribed
  • Lead and booking tracking collecting real data
  • A prioritized 90-Day Gameplan for the next quarter

What that looks like in a practice

Bookings You Can Trace to a Source

By the end of the first quarter, your follow-up, campaigns, and tracking have run long enough to show a pattern. For the first time, you can see which sources produce consults, which consults book treatments, and where patients drop off.

  • Leads by source
  • Consults booked lead-to-book
  • Consults attended show rate
  • Treatments close rate
Illustration of what your dashboard tracks, not a forecast for your practice.

The honest part

What Day 90 Doesn't Guarantee

Any agency can promise you a number. Here's what we say out loud before you sign, because the first quarter builds a system. It doesn't finish one.

What compounds after the first quarter
Search authorityReviews & reputationPatient lifetime valueReferral volumeBrand recognition
  • A specific number of leads, consults, or treatments
  • A fixed cost per lead in every market
  • Top search rankings for every treatment and location
  • Immediate recommendations in AI search tools
  • A finished system that no longer needs work
The goal of your first 90 days is to build the system correctly, create momentum where your market allows it, and replace guesswork with evidence.

What a Connected Growth System Can Produce

No case study predicts what another practice will achieve. These show what happens when the right systems are built in the right order.

From a Plateau to a Fully Booked Schedule, Without Paid Ads

Nurse practitioner Jalayne Faulhaber was the provider, the scheduler, and the marketer. Paid radio and social ads had produced zero patients, and appointments had flattened. We rebuilt her message, her website, and her local search presence around one goal: get found, get booked.

See All Success Stories

Real results from Salt clients over periods of a year or more. Examples, not guarantees — every market, service mix, and season behaves differently.

The lesson isn't that every practice will see these numbers. It's that diagnosis, sequence, and accountability give the first 90 days a real chance to produce momentum.

After Day 90

What Happens After Day 90?

Your first 90 days become the evidence for the next 90. Nothing restarts. Each quarter builds on what the last one proved.

Protect

Keep what's working

Channels and systems producing bookings keep getting attention. We protect gains instead of rebuilding your strategy every quarter.

Fix

Improve what's underperforming

Weak offers, slow follow-up, low-quality leads, booking-path friction, and tracking gaps become ranked fixes, not vague frustrations.

Extend

Expand where you're ready

Memberships, new treatment campaigns, more visibility work, expanded ads, deeper automation, or referral programs, added when your system can support them.

Pace

Match growth to capacity

More demand only helps if your providers have room to treat it. Each 90-Day Gameplan reflects provider schedules, seasonality, and the services you most want to grow.

The first 90 days build the foundation. Every quarter after uses what we learned to make your system stronger.

Why we built it this way

You Shouldn't Spend Three Months Wondering If Anything Is Working

Many owners who come to us have been through this before. They hired an agency, waited, asked for an update, and got a report full of numbers that didn't connect to booked appointments. That isn't a marketing problem. It's a planning problem.

So we wrote ours down. Your first 90 days start with diagnosis, show you exactly what we're building, and end with evidence you can use. We only work with one practice per market, so the strategy we build for you stays yours.

FAQ

First 90 Days FAQs

The questions owners ask before they commit a quarter to a new partner, answered straight.

Can't find your question?

Book a free Growth Accelerator Session and ask us anything about the first 90 days. We'll give you a straight answer.

Book a Session
01Is the first 90 days a separate service?

No. It's the opening stage of the Growth Accelerator. The milestones are the same for every practice, but the specific work is prescribed by your diagnosis.

02Does every practice follow the same timeline?

The milestones are consistent. The exact sequence depends on your diagnosis, account access, approval speed, provider capacity, and budget.

03Why do you diagnose before doing any marketing?

Because more leads don't help if your follow-up, booking path, or consult process is losing the ones you already have. We fix what's costing you the most first.

04Will I get new bookings in the first 30 days?

Many practices see early bookings from database reactivation and better follow-up. We can't promise a specific number, because results depend on your list, offers, market, and team follow-through.

05Do you rebuild my website?

Not as part of the monthly fee. Website optimization, meaning focused improvements to your booking path, calls to action, and key pages, is part of the first 90 days. If you need a full rebuild, we'll quote it separately.

06Will you run paid ads, and what does ad spend cost?

Only if your diagnosis shows they'll help. Ads work best once your follow-up and booking systems can turn new leads into appointments. Ad spend is separate from your Salt investment and paid directly to the platforms. We typically recommend starting around $33 a day, or about $1,000 a month.

07What if I already have a CRM or booking system?

We review what you have. Your booking or EMR system stays in place. Lead follow-up and automation move onto our CRM and automation platform so every opportunity is tracked and followed up the same way.

08What do you mean by one practice per market?

We only partner with one practice in your area. The strategy, messaging, and systems we build for you are never shared with a competitor down the street.

09How much involvement do you need from me?

The most in the first two weeks: the kickoff call, the Messaging Strategy Session, account access, and approvals. After that, mainly quick reviews, feedback on lead quality, and a monthly metrics meeting.

10How much does it cost, and how long is the agreement?

The Growth Accelerator is $2,750 per month on a 12-month agreement. Ad spend and website rebuilds are separate.
